Default Access Key location...

Hello, this game looks fantastic, i have waited a long time for a online RPG without a fee and this looks to suit the bill perfectly! So i've purchased this game from gamestation (Nuneaton, Warwickshire, United Kingdom) and it installed fine and everything but now i need my access key, on a website it says it is located in the CD jewel case... but no, i have looked all over the jewel case but there is no 15 digit code... Please can you explain to me where i should find my access key... i really want to play this game and i just can't find the access key, i hope that i've just been stupid and not looked in the right bit... so where should my access key be located? thanks, pete.

Its either in the back (outside) of first cd-sleeve (silver junk that needs to be rubbed off) or in a little paper square that needs to be opened.

[Edit: paper square was/is between the 2 paper manuals if its that kind you have. And I think those with paper squares have plastic boxes instead out of paper like the first ones.]

whe u open your case the access key is on the left hand side under a protective film, like one of those lottery "scatchers"...use a quarter to scracth it off...the access key is hidden underneath

Not for me, this sucks, i feel like sulking for the rest of the night. I hope the shop lets me take the game back and have another copy (i realised that the game was actually open because they used the actual game case as the display case, i didnt notice the little message on the back saying "not valid if opened"... gamestation is a good shop though and very well known so i doubt i'll have any problems... if i do then i will be very angry... thanks for all your help.

Wait, you bought the display copy? AFAIK, those are usually stripped of CD keys and such in case of being stolen.

get in touch with the store , they may have the key and merely forgot to git to you when you bought it. if they do not and cant offer any other way to unlock the game have them open another copy and the key there or demand your money back

Take it back mate, I'm also from the UK and bought mine from Virgin Megastore, the Access code was on a small white card with tear off strips around the edges and the code was inside...

I'm sure it was an honest mistake and it'll get corrected...good luck

Pete, look on the back of the instruction manual that came with your CD set at the top of the booklet. It'll be there.

Wow, i havent come back to this forum thread for a while because i have been too busy playing guildwars, it IS AMAZING, i can't stop playing it in all my free time. I went to gamestation and they apologised immensly and gave me a new copy of the game WITH the access code. Game ran fine then and it runs perfectly on my computer with the settings on high, i am very happy, gamestation is brilliant for customer service and GuildWars is one hell of a game thanks alot to everyone who replied. Pete.

yeah, this happened to me with Call of Duty, the manufacturer had apparently had quite a few units ship with no CD Key.
