Default Game Crashing

Hi all, I know this is my first post here but it is for a good reason. You seem like a clevar bunch but still yet i have not found a cure to my problem in this game.
The problem happens at random times which is actually like 10min+ into playing the game.
The problem it self is the game freeze's and then says i have a driver error.
So i loaded the website followed all instructions on there and got my self some new drivers. These are the latest drivers and still did not fix my problem (yes i have installed the drivers correctly) i then read that directx mite be casuing the problem so i then downloaded the latest version unistalled the old one and installed this. Nope did not fix my problem.
Ive tried setting the specs on my pc and game to lowest and nope it still does not fix the problem. My pc specs seem fine and i dont seem to have any problem actually playing the game (smoothness/loading) but here are my specs anyway.
AMD Athlon processor 1.4GHZ,512 MB of Ram
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 (latest drivers)
If you require most information please reply here with what you need and praise the person who helps me fix this Thx

Hi there,

It sounds like you have a lot of similar problems with Posters and Threads already located on this Tech Forum. I would suggest doing an extensive search of these posts as there are lots of things you can try.

They are related to your card etc and will save us time in having to repeat everything that has already been mentioned many times and will save you time in having to wait for replies from people.

Hope this helps you out.

check to see what setting your motherboard is recognizing your graphics card at....e.g.

I have an ABIT nf7-s nforce mobo. geforce4 fx 5200 (like U) 2.2 AMD, 512 ram....blah blah blah the rest

i set my mobo to read the Grpx card at 8x AGP and BLAM!!, crash....reduced it to 4X AGP and runs sweet.....at almost highest game setting.....and IMHO did not see much difference in graphics quality.....try setting your crad to be read at 4 x ...see what happens

i have almost the same specs. try cooling your comp better. A lot of people when playign GW have their temp go way too high and the comp restarts as a fail-safe so no hardware gets damaged
