Hi, I know there's already a Nvidia driver stickee, but this might be sorta off topic.

Ok, I got a Nvidia 6600gt on it's way as we speak, upgrading from a ATI card.
I understand that the 71.89 drivers are the best for GW at the moment and to stay away from the latest drivers. But I am curious if anyone plays BF2 and if there is really that much of a problem.

I know it's sorta off topic, but I want to continue to play GW but I also play other games as well so I want to get a good driver that will be compatible most games.

The newest drivers have worked well so far but I did have a blue sceen of death crash when I was existing GW and it was the Nvidia driver that caused it, other then that they been working correctly for me.

Also it has gamma overlay issue "defaults" that bleached dvd / mpeg4 video but going in to the control panel and fixing the contrast settings to default fixed it.

The newest drivers for me blue screened everytime I exited GW. Went back to the 71.89 and have not had a single problem. I play BF 2 with no problems at all using these drivers.

so far 71.89 have been the most stable drivers for me. i never had the blue screen when exiting GW. it's fine on BF2. im already bored of this game. GW continues to kicksass!!!
