Default Please Help with Graphics Problem

I have an Intel 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV graphic card. IS THERE ANY HOPE OF ME RUNNING THIS GAME ON THIS CARD. I just bought the game and thought I could download a better driver or something since my friend has the same computer as mine, justaa year older than mine and CAN play this game flawlessly by downloading a better driver(he has a Radeon 9000). I can play the game depending on what I want to do. I can fight stuff for a while, open up shop menus and sell stuff, and do quests, BUT the second I move something around in my inventory, my computer shuts itself down instantly. Please help me, I really dont want to spend a $50 dollars for a Radeon 9200.

In my experience, the onboard Intel graphics cards are terrible for games. But have you tried getting the latest driver from Intel's site?

Here's a link (assuming you're running WinXP)

A Driver Rollback is the typical solution for the intel chipset. Roll back to 6.14.x.

As far as computers go, the Intel chipset is not at all comparable to an ati based chipset, no comparison there.

Intel chipsets are more often better for standard workstations used i na work enviroment for common task not requiring high end 3d processing.
