I have:-
3400+ Althon 1024mb Ram XFX 6600gt and I was wondering can I turn on AA and is it worth putting it on? |

You should be able to run 4x AA with no problem. Yes it is worth turning on, takes the jaggies out of angled lines.

I have a 6600GT myself, I can run 2xAA well, occasionally dropping to ~30 frames in fights. At 4xAA my framerate gets a little low in areas like Ring of Fire, so I usually leave it at 2x.

I too have a 6600GT and I run 4xAA with no dips at all, although I am running AMD 64 3000+ and 2GB of Ram, but either 2x or 4x is good.
