Default Guildwars locks up computer

I have been running GW on my WIN98SE machine no problem.

I installed GW on my new machine and it allows me to log on, but when it starts loading environment (i.e. Lions Arch) the computer locks up. It will load extra files for an area but won't run.

Computer:
emachines T3882
256mb RAM
80gb HD
Built in graphics (onboard Intel video). I have no AGP slot).
WINXP Home
Cable internet.
Linksys router (works ok with WIN98SE machine)
Motorola Cable Modem

I set graphics to 800x600 no luck.

Help?

Do I need 512mb ram?

The upgrade in ram would help greatly, also consider a PCI slot card
