Default Why Guild Wars doesn't support 6x Anti-Aliasing?

My video card supports also 6xAA so is there way to use it instead 4x? I have tried to disable AA from the game options and switch 6xAA from the ATI control panel but then there is no AA at all.

Your video card has "force" feature, it should be in the advanced tab of your desktop features.

Its probally set to "application based" which you can change.

Though, if GW was only designed to use 4x 6x might look choppy, weird etc.

Can you really tell the difference between 4x and 6x in the heat of battle?

I would also like to see some options to crank up AA and AF (and any other nice graphical enhancements) for those of us with the hardware to handle it.

For ATI cards;
goto the Settings for your screen > Advanced > 3D select costum ; button below Costum settings now available: click it.
Rest should be clear.

For nVidia
Screen settings > advanced > GeForce ##### > Quality and preformance> Uncheck the "Application Controlled" and slide ur AA.

Done.

As I wrote before, I tried that but it doesn't work. I'm using Cat 5.7 drivers.

if the game doesnt support it,i'd leave it alone. Just work with what the game gives you.
