Hi, ive had GW game For awhile now, but theres just one problem, it wont install. Ive constantly tried to install it but it never works. What happens when i try to install is it goes through first connecting to arenanet page, then goes throgh downloading page just fine, but on the second connecting to arenanet page it just stays at 0%. I think is has something to do with connecting to the internet. It works on my laptop just fine, but i dont know whats the difference between my laptop and computer. Ive even left it on overnight still nothing. So can someone plz tell me whats wrong, i would really appreciate it thank you

P.S. I have dial-up, and no router

well, look at the things your lap top has that your desk top dosent.

a firewall?
different operating system?
have you cheked to make sure that your machine isnt in 'stealth mode' (when a server cant see yo cause your firewall is turned to hiden or stealth)

i assume you net works fine on the desktop, but if not, have you checked your modem settings?
is there some hardware that the laptop has that the desktop does not, perhaps?

I have tried installing with my firewall turned off but that didnt work. i have my modem settings put on the highest port speed. im pretty sure its not in stealth mode. my laptop and desktop have the same operating system. And the only different hardware on the laptop is the wireless settings but i never use wireless. So what do you suggest i do now?

P.S. I have also tried the client download that didnt work either
