Default 2 TINY questions

Sorry mods, because I know I saw the first question somewhere, but a search for ram didn't turn up any results, as there are probably way too many.

Q1)What is the url to a website that will tell you what type of ram you are using, how many open slots you have, and then offer a price so you can buy it?

Q2) I have a new hard drive, and I want to make sure everything in my comp stays cool, but the hard drive is running hot. What are the things called that go into the frive bay, andhave knobs and stuff and a screen that tells you the temp inside your comp, so you can make the fans faster, etc, and how do you know if its compatible with your comp?

Thanks

I don't know about your second question.

To answer your first though.... www.pcpitstop.com

It will diagnose your whole computer. It will let you know where you might have problems too and give you suggestions on how to tweak it.

Answer to #2 Fan controller start here to find what you are looking for. As long as you have a pc and not an Apple it is compatible.

Also in response to #2, you can buy specialised hard drive fans that clip onto your hard drive like a heatsink/fan on a CPU.

All of my bays are full, except I hav an extra 3.5inch hard drive bay. My question is, how do you turn the knobs on these fans. I put the thing over my hard drive, but the there is metal and plastic, and in the from of the case on the plasti is my power button. (My computer isnt custom built, so it hjas a manufacturers case)
