Crashed after exp awarded for Thunderhead mission
After spending 3 hours looking for a group, then 3 hours working my way through this near-impossible mission, I finally beat it with a reasonably skilled PUG (I know, an oxymoron, but it happens). I get to the end cinema, which of course everyone wants to skip, so we try to skip the end cinema, and we CRASH! Now I don't want to sound hostile or anything, but this is a serious bug that needs fixed NOW! I had the exp awarded to me, and was perfectly prepared to start in the next town, but the mission crashed at the end and I ended up right back in the middle of Thunderhead, building my own head of thunder at that point. Is there any way I can be credited for the completion of this mission? Or at least get an apology from Arena Net for the enormous waste of time this has been?

This is exactly the answer I thought I'd get but didn't want. I have a 1.5MB DSL connection and a mid-range system that would currently cost around $1200 for the tower alone. Sorry, but I'm not a millionaire who can go spending $4000 on a Falcon or Alienware SLI PC. I have other things to spend money on, like taxes and gas. And I didn't say I crashed. I said WE crashed, as in the entire group. Plural, not singular.

I'm sure Naprius was being sarcastic about the computer/connection part...
I don't see how there's an actual bug involved. Just grab the old group again if you can, or find another decent one. I've thrown together half-assed teams that make it through. (Monks that nuke...heh...) Just be sure you have a fairly competent team beforehand and agree on a strategy.

Completely understand how upset your are, I've been lag -> d/c on a few times while being in a great pug or near the end of a quest / mission.
If it was a bug with the game, a lot of people would be complaining about it. This sound like an one time glitch be your pc, internet connection, etc.
What people are trying to say is take a deep breath, calm down, and I do understand how frustrating it is. That's all.
I would send tech support a report to Anet in case there is a rare bug (you would not be the only one sending an message). The way that Anet is set up (as opposed to say Final Fantasy XI GM system) there not set up to "correct" glitches such as lost xp for individual instances.
