Default Weird Background Flickering

I'm not sure when this started to happen (After the new update or whenever), but whenever I start to run, I can see background objects (Like the sky, buildings or mountains) FLICKER a lot. Everything around me is fine, just faraway objects flickers sometimes.

Pentium 4 3GHZ
512MB RAM
GeForce FX5200

81.85 Forceware drivers.

Is anybody else experiencing this problem?

try the previous driver and see if it goes away, the new nvidia forceware drivers are funky with Guild Wars.

Default Nvidia notified about latest driver issue.

Just to let others know, many asked in the threads about latest drivers if anyone told nvidia about this, well as we the public can't since in nvidias eyes they only take complaints from customers. Technically we are not the customers for nvidia, according to their site resellers are since they buy the GPU chips (ex. eVGA, PNY, XFX etc.) So I wrote PNY to tell nvidia and got the response today that they wil now notify nvidia that it is working our nerves very well. PNY was working with me to make sure it was a driver issue (which we all knew it was here.)

Hopefully soon it will be fixed.

I have a 5500 fx and have had no issues at all.... Gf has the same card, similarly no problems.

I also have a problem with the water in Source (Half-Life 2). So ...I'll probably roll back my drivers until this issue is resolved.

I have same problems with GW. All 3 of them in fact. I thought was my video card so i got my computer guy to get me new one under warranty. was cheap stripped down GFX 5200. Got fully loaded MSI version the one with the remote at no upgrade charge. So um I really can't b*tch about this issue But its driving me crazy.

I have this picture in my head of Nvidia with thier fingers in their ears saying: "LaLaLaLaLaLa...can't hear you....LaLaLaLaLaLa..."

That is so ignorant NOT to take down info from a user.

Nvidiocy... the way it is meant to be ignored.
I had the same problems with the newest drivers. Constant flickering and a look like i was playing Mario 3D in the SNES Edition. I downgraded my drivers and they now work fine with Guildwars. However the older drivers screw up Fable TLC.
As i allready mentioned in another thread about this matter the whole thing is slowly but steadily pissing me off. The whole direction this is going AGAIN. We allready had this dilemna to be in need of a different driver setup for different games and it belongs into the Computer-Stoneage not into the year 2005.

/edit:
The only reason i went Nvidiocy was Linux Support.

Compared to ATI, nvidia doenst make a signal video card, they make the gpu and refrence designs then sell to third party venders who make the card.

I have not doubt that the venders are getting and earfull about GW and there new drivers and it's going straigt to Nvidia.
