Looking for high speed internet.
But I don't know what to get so I'm wondering what you all use.
How much does it cost, how fast is it, is it reliable, and any links to a site of theirs is always nice.

Why not just type in Google Reviews of ISPs. Let the internet do your research for you.

The cost for decent cable access is within the $30-$40 range. Avoid "High Speed Dialup" as it won't help your GW speeds at all, only web pages. I've come to trust in the reliabilty of my own Charter access, but I live in a city of less then 50,000 people so you may have a different story in your area on that front.

you are in my area and you have Comcast cable.(i dont have cable)
i have SBC dsl and since i am less than 2000 feet from a fiber optic hard point i get over 300 KB/sec easy.
less than 40 a month on promotion.
150 KB/sec can be about 20/ month
site for some more info

EDIT

I have Comcast Cable and I think it is about $50.00 a month. Can't remeber off the top of my head, as my wife pays all the bills. Here is a screenshot of a recent speed test from speakeasy.

That is decent speed. I have 6mbs too. Also if you are a new subscriber to Comcast you can get a deal. I got 6 months at $22.00/month....then $45.00 after that.

6mbit connection should get you around 550 kb\s unless you're far away from the central.

who's your local phone through if it's verizon chances are good that there's DSL available otherwise at the very least look into the god forsaken AOL they have DSL now although it's extremely expensive and AOL sucks
but for playing GW you don't need a fast connection I used to play it using my cellphone to connect through my laptop and i was still loading up faster than most others in my party I honestly don't notice a difference between my cell dialup and and DSL at home for gameplay
BTW the cellphone runs at about 14.4
