Running 2 Gw at the same time
i have seen post about this but never a clear explanation. the rules say they do not want 2 running at the same yet they do not condim it. so with that in mind its fair game. basically we don't recommend it but we can't stop you.
i've heard of making 2 registry files and putting them in different locations
i need some exact instructions so i can link my 2 accounts. bought another one recently and would like to have it as storage. problem is i can xfer from one account w/o handing it off to some one else to give to my other account.

Just a quick question, why would you want to have 2 GW's open? And you would have to be darn good at mirco'ing to do that.

since i cannot get on both accounts at the same time i have to hand my items and gold to a guildy. jump on the other account and store it.
i have to have other guildys run my char on new account instead of me doing it myself on my other account.

Thats what I'm saying, I have no clue. Maybe if you have 2 HD's load it up on each and try to dual-boot.

na its not as complicated as that.
i need to copy registry file. copy my gw file to another HD or partition and change the target source for desktop short cut.
my problem is i don't know where to copy the registry file to and for some reason i can't change where the desktop icon is targeting. i know you do it from the preferences but the target field never shows up.

cant you just right-click the shortcut, copy and paste so you have 2 (one for each copy), then right click again, go: properties, click on the shortcut tab, and then just edit the target?
im at school, so i cant check on the guild wars icon, but it works for mozilla firefox
