Hey everyone, my current printer broke down a couple of days ago, which wasnt that great in the first place. I was thinking of buying an HP brand printer, but i have no idea which one to get. Can someone please help me out in buying an HP desktop printer? Something that prints good quallity pictures, and doesnt cost that much. The printer will be used to print stuff from the pc, no cameras or anything. Thanks in advance!

Check out Dell's website...they have really nice printers...and they are affordable. I have the cheapie one the 922 inkjet. Works pretty good...and it scans and all that jazz without having it plugged into the computer..

We also bought the 5100cn Color full duplex laser printer for work...now that is a spiffy printer....prints out game manuals just great!

Get an Epson Stylus R200 (newegg $89 - $69 w/ rebate).

It will let you print directly on CD/DVDs!

Prints BEAUTIFUL photos with its 6 separate cartridges. If you run out of magenta, you just replace the magenta cartridge. No need to buy a whole new "color" cartridge when one color runs out.

Yes... I have a Canon like that. That I use only for Photos. My cheapie Dell 922 has a cartrage...not the best there...but it is used for regular printing needs. At work we also got the Dell 1100 Laser for like $89.00. It is fine for that quicky stuff. But my Invioce printer is a HP1300....that is a great med ranged laser.
