I may be missing something, but it doesn't look like there's anything wrong to me.

Maybe his "hair flap" got loose. LOL. I personally like the frog floating above the box , under the small tent next to the storage agent in "Gates of Kryta" This game is filled with so many graphic errors it is sad.

Crimson Icarus: I'm guessing you probably have corrupted files. Unfortunately the only way I know of fixing that is to first uninstall Guild Wars, delete the program files/guildwars directory, then reinstall the game. That will give you new & fresh files, but unfortunately it also means downloading all patches again.

I doubt very much that has anything to do with corrupted files. It's a graphical error in which his card/drivers/game are not calculating the geometry correctly. Too bad there's no console in GW to adjust stuff like that (like in most FPS's)...New video card drivers might fix it, though. What video card do you have?

But yeah, GW is full of minor graphical errors for many users.

Try it with a different hair-style, probably wouldn't do it...maybe, heh.

To me it looks like it could be a tuft of fur with a cord wrapped around the bottom (as long as I am looking at the right thing). Other than that I cannot see a hole in the head (Zach de la Rocha should have never left RATM)

I really don't like the latest Radeon drivers for the X800 series, they seem to cause more problems than they fixed, and even seem a bit more sluggish. If you can find the driver build made a few months back, like 6-8 months ago, can't remember the version, but I'd try that.

If not then you can just pretend it's a battle scar :P

It's not a "bug" or a "glitch" or a driver/display problem. It's common in EVERY game, it simple geometry clipping.

Because they have so many different head types, hair types & animations it's difficult (and unrealistic) to get them to all work together perfectly. In this case, the hair gets pushed though the scalp during the animation, and you can see the scalp come through. oops, oh well.

Try Doing the cheer animation with the female ranger, the shoulder stretches horribly. Better vertex weighting may have fixed that, but all things considered they did a great job.

As far as "This game is filled with so many graphic errors it is sad." I thing you need to play more games... Compared to most, this is a shining pillar of excellence.

Umm, geometry clipping IS a bug/glitch. And the extent and existance of it is dependent upon the game and video card you have. It's not universally the same even on the same games. But you're right, few games have been able to really overcome the geometry problems, and there are much worse, yes.

One that's not present in other peoples games, though. At least I've never had my ranger avatars head poke through his hair.

Although a closer image would've been helpful; it is hard to see anything at the distance in the screenshots.

Yes. It is one of the bug-freest PC games I've played in recent years. Compared to something like Dungeon Lords or even Everquest 2 it's completely bug-free.
