I have tested to add some entries for bad servers in my host file to help name resolution but this does not help....

Any idea ?

I have send also the question to GW support but no answer so far....

The host file is likely to cause more trouble than it's worth. ArenaNet could update those IP's anytime they want.

Would you mind posting links to all these cool TCP/IP tools that you keep citing in your posts? I'd like to check them out and some other people probably would, too.

TcpView is a free program from sysinternals, they have a lot of very powerful free tool....
try also the PMon it is incredible ! The taskmanager looks like notepad compared to Word :-)

Thank you.

Edit: TCPView is a nifty little tool. Very simple, no directions required. I noticed that every time you map travel to a new area, one IP drops and another IP is picked up. I wonder if that has something to do with the problems that some people are having with map travel? Maybe firewall or router-related issues with them?

Edit2: PMon is an NT 4.0 program, so I think you meant Process Explorer, which, yeah...wow, you were right: it's a substantial improvement on certain aspects of Task Manager. I also download two other goodies.

I have solution for a while now....

This was simply a problem in my network mask in my router.
Someone changed it and some packet were re-routed in the LAN instead of the WAN.
