Default Need Video Card Help

I know im getting guild wars for christmas, and i would like to know if my video card is capable of running the game at about mid specs. If you don't think it can, i would appreciate it if you listed the name of a good quality video card (under $200 canadian).

I'm running a Nvidia GeForce 4 MX 420 (im not sure if it has 32 or 64MBs, and I don't know how to check.

Also I have 768 RAM, and 2.4ghz.

Thanks

Ram is fair...will work...CPU is fine. As for a video card....look at the Nvidia 6600GT...that should fit right in your budget....

The one you have is real weak for today's games....

Or if your not from U.S.A (therefore, no NewEgg), try eBuyer's Sapphire Radeon 9600 AGP X8 256MB DDR for only £55 including VAT, shipping, packaging, etc.

I had the same card but it played GW perfectly but I bought some new games and it barely met the minimum requirments so I bought the card old warrior dood pointed out and it plays everything at recommended settings.

I used to have the GeForce 2 Mx 400, and with 256mb of ram and a P4 1.7ghz processor, I ran GW fine.

I bought an ATI Radeon 9550, and am loving the added detail and stuff that it adds.

I would stick with the card, maybe when you see a better card on sale, buy it, but that card should run GW fine.

As for the ATI Radeon 9550, it runs GW beautifully.

SKIP EBAY AS THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE OF BEING RIPPED OFF.
