so how did you get 50$ for GW?

does your character have the glassy armor when it shows your character select screen?
Like this?\/\/

if so, you probably just need to go online and update your graphics cards' driver.

I have the same problem with my 64MB integrated chipset driver....eew
I lag like the shizzz but i can still play.

Well you have 480MB of RAM, so it shouldn't be that bad...If you bought another 256MB of RAM for around $26.

Plus, I'd recommend getting a decent Graphics Card, something like a ATI Sapphire Radeon 9250 for around $38.

I know I know, I've read all your posts, you might not be able to afford it, but in 'my' opinion, I'd get the Graphics Card first, then RAM when you can.

I'd recommend getting a ATI Sapphire Radeon 9250 128MB from eBuyer.com for around $45, here;

that has got to be the coolest armor I've seen --- how much are you selling for?

ps

if you're so broke, turn gw to your advantage and it pays for itself.
you can get 50 bucks for a million gw gold on e-bay.

Well you can tell your someone with a big attitude and think gaming is for nerds, geeks, or whatever.

You'd probably be a player anyway who thinks a certain class HAS to do such and such and be a general hateful player.

Yeah but it's edges are rendered like paper! >:O
I have an Nvidia GeForce 5500FX which is kind of old, but GW still runs great on it with nearly everything maxxed. However, if you have the money, shoot for at least a 6600. Possibly a 6800. If you're rich, get the bloody 7800! I don't know about ATi's cards however, so many pardons in response to that. Also, what is S3? If it's one of those default built-in-comes-with-your-compy video card, no good. The majority of computers come with terrible video cards, with exceptions on maybe some Dell ones (though in my family, we customize ours).

Well, I guess maybe you guys are inadvertantly (and unintentionally) making him feel dumb and poor, so he's calling you nerdy and rich. Well, whatever, let's try not to be hostile here.

Sizzurp (I like the name...sippin'....lol), your computer isn't really well-equipped to run games. The video hardware is just a little underpowered for it. You have several alternatives:
  • Buy and install a new video card (I know you're broke)
  • Play the game as it is
  • Sell your account to someone and get a PS2 or something

You could probably find someone on some forums who would be willing to buy your account from you if you decide to give up on it. Good luck.

PS - Yes, I am a computer geek, but I'm not nerdy.
