Default Flashing Llight

Ok, Since the most recent update/patch I am getting, as best as I can discribe, flashing light on the screen/monitor. When ever I turn my view I get a flashing white light in bars or the whole screen. It's as if your running thru the forest with the sun light shining in and everytime you pass thru a beam you get the blinded for a split sec. That is what it is like. Sorry for the weird analogy. Any insight on this problem of mine is greatly appreciated.

I have yet to see anything like that. It could be your computer.

Not 100% sure it's the CPU that is the problem. I have other games that have simular views and scanning abuility and this is the only one that does it.

At times it is, depends on how long it lasts. Sort of simular to the intensity of siting on the edge of a ether seal aura. But not nearly as long. Some as long as a full second, others are milliseconds in length. Also in the color of white or an off white with blue tinge.

I have the exact same problem. I would describe it as the brightness fluctuating. It goes from normal to so bright that everything is white. And the brightness changes whenever my camarea angle changes. Sometimes the screen is tinted. I beleive it has to do with surroundings becasue when i play in hoh the later stages the tint is gold, while in droks area is white and in desert its a pale brightness. Sometimes the problem stops completely, but only for a few minutes

This problem happened as soon as i updated. I played the morning the update came out (before) and everything was fine, game has been fine for 3 months. As soon as i updated i get this problem, and it persists to this day

I have updated my video card drivers and it literally made the problem worse.

I contacted technical support but they gave me a stupid run around about updating my drivers and dont really care that the update caused this problem.
i don't know what to do, its super annoying.

I have this problem too... I think it has to do something with overheating, might be due to the update, who knows... I only have this on GW so... Must be the update!
But my screen gives me black lightnings instead of white, white-grey

I am happy to know I am not the only one with this issue, but I am sorry to hear that you have the same problem. Maybe they will look into it more when there is enough of us to make it an issue for them to solve.

Well Here it is a 2 weeks later and the problem is not resolved. Actually in some areas it's even worse then before. Went to the shiver peaks and got snow blinded when i turned to look for the pass between the mountains. I literally saw spots for the next 5 minutes. UGH!!!!!

Default Same problem

I have been having this problem also. I thought at first it was just a pre-searing issue, but I have logged into all my characters now and it's everywhere. I was hoping I would find a fix here, but I guess no such luck. I thought it might be fixed in the last update, but it seems not. I started having the problem after the December 15 update, I think. It's very annoying, makes GW just about unplayable. I hope they fix it soon.

Well, I sent a mail yesterday to the Support and they will look into it, I have sent my DxDiag Test (so they know if its a game or computer issue) File to them and they said they will let me know what is wrong...
