Ok.

Here's a weird one.

ONLY in GW do I have this problem. I can not simply type an 'l' (lowercase 'L') in-game. I can type 'L,' but to get an 'l' I have to have the Caps Lock on and then hold down the Shift button.

I play on a laptop and use a keyboard connected to it via USB. This happens with any keyboard connected as well as with the laptop's keyboard itself.

I have no problems with any other program (game or otherwise). Also, while I am on a home network, my laptop is the only computer that has this problem. (There is 1 other computer, currently, that has GW on it and it doesn't run into this issue.)

Now, if it was simply I couldn't type the 'l' at all that would be one thing...but it seems that after entering an 'a' or a 'p' I can then type an 'l'.

And sometimes I can get an 'l' when typing 'll' (as in the word 'will')...but not always.

I have been working with computers for 20+ years and I have NEVER ran into something like this.

Any ideas?

Check to see if your L key is bound to any GW commands. Even if it was you shouldn't have an issue while typing in chat. It is worth a try, though.

Just use an i. Who knows, maybe it will become the new wave for internet lingo.
