I noticed a little bit slower loading times and slightly reduced frame rates in cities after the xmas update, but not any major lag. That seems to be fixed though now that they brought it back to normal.

Also, is it the type of lag where you can still move in place but everything around you stops or the type of lage where everything stops?

Talking Possible Solutions

ok this sounds like one of several things:
1 antivirus running in background. stop it .
2 disckeeper running in background stop it
3 heat issues more fans
4 router issues unplug and wait 30 seconds then turn back on
5 modem issues turn off then wait 30 seconds and turn back on

I have had all these problems and the fixes i am posting work.
Happy hunting.
