Hello I would like to tell you that I just got my new comp custom made and its all awesome. On guild wars all the scenery is right and u can play the game at amazing speeds. But everyones armour is all shiny and silverish blue. Unless you dont have armour on or u have tatoos. Can anyone tell me whats up?

I would make sure you have the most current version of Microsoft Direct X 9 installed - http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
and make sure your using the most current official non-beta video card driver.

I had this problem before, do you mean that the armor has no details and is just completely flat and shiny? If so, check if your computer is overheating, turn it off, take off the case and try again, that turned out to be my problem. If it still does then its clearly not that, so do the usual, try reinstalling/updating graphics drivers, check at run -> dxdiag if there are any corrupt directx files, try reinstalling Guild Wars, test the integrity of your memory with memtest86, try running something like 3DMark to check if your graphics card is having problems. Shouldn't be any of the latter though.

I get the shiny armor-thing all the time at work with my outdated Matrox G550, what GFX card you have in the new computer? Tho it's a new one so it /shouldn't/ be very outdated.. never know what the package computer dealers put in those things <.<
