Default urgent dial up question

ive been playing this on high speed internet for a while and now im at a new location and using dial up and town take forever 2 load up is there neway 2 make this go fast or is it a 1 time wait thne itll b easy?? sum1 help quick

Unfortunately, if you're on dial-up, I think you're stuck. Yes, once you load a town/outpost you won't have to load as much, but you'll still have to wait a bit. Only way to get it to go faster is to ditch the dial-up.

How I remember those days many years ago with that exact tone, it was dreadful, brings back - bad memories. :P lol

Basically, you're screwed on updates and firstime loads. Once it's loaded it'll not take as long but it's still no Broadband.

Are you playing on a laptop? If so, you might try Verizon's Wireless Broadband if you can afford it and it's available to you. I use it at work and am glad, because all they could give me was dial up.

Hey! Leave the poor guy alone! :P I feel your pain man exactly the same thing happened to me except where I live I can only connect at 31.2kbs.... Yeah I know its harsh BUT I can still run gw without any lag at all! It just sucks when a big patch comes but I just leave it to go for about an hour and its all good lol
