error after last update
Im geting a nice error after the latest patch...It attempts to download then open the patch...but this error text comes up....
Assertion: Unable to execute patch file 'E:\Games\Guild Wars\Gw.tmp' Where of course e: is where the game is...ran fine, but this last patch messed it up. |

take your gw.dat file and the screenshots and put them to a safe place.
then erase the guild wars folder, get a new client from the guildwars homepage and put your game data file and the screens back in after install. hope it helps. you are lucky, i am getting FrApi.cpp Exceptions again after the last update... i think .net is messing things up again... |

If Uzil trick doesn't work, uninstall guildwars and don't backup the gw.dat.
The update could of corrupted gw.dat file. If this is the case you will have to redownload a ton of stuff. |

eww it appears that reinstalling the game worked...GW DLd the patch when it first installed and then went about trying to fill in the missing stuff...
Nice patch that borks the main program...dang you microarnet...grrrrr Thank you for the assist, guys.
