Default graphic glitches, driver issue?

Hi,

I played GW way back in beta event etc etc every chance I got I played.

Then I played WoW and finally decided to return to GW <3

Since I am getting the game saterday, I decided to download it already from the official site, so I have it installed and let it run to download some.

Now I used to have a mx440 and had no problems at all, I upgraded to a nvidia 6200 since then and the login screen comes of a bit weird as seen in the screenshot:

*note: since I don't have the game yet I haven't been able to test in-game*

I have had driver issues before (example, hl2 wouldent run at all with 77.77, but perfect on 81.98. WoW did perfect on 77.77 but got some texture screw ups with 81.98).

I tested both these drivers on GW. This screenshot was taken with 81.98.

Anyone knows good drivers for gw with this card?

Or if you think it's something else feel free to reply too.

Other specs to make it complete:
amd athlon xp 2400+
768mb ram
ECS K7S5A motherboard
Creative SB live series.
and the Nvidia geforce 6200

Further info can be given but I think this would be all needed.

wow, I had a Geforce 6200 for about 2 days, and I diddnt get that error, I just got 12 fps most of the time...

It looks to me like a driver issue, I had to format JUST to get the card working right... I got rid of the card and payed £14 more for a Radeon x1600 instead, and im glad I did that..

If its not driver issues, It could be lack of Shader compatability, but then, wouldnt every 6200 have the same problem..

It could be that your not running in full colour, or it could simply be heat, or a broken card..

Drivers tested so far:
76.44
77.50
77.77
81.94
81.95
81.98
83.90 (newest beta drivers)

Tested color settings, tested AA settings, resolution settings.

Updated AGP drivers for motherboard. Checked bios etc, no new updates.

It is not overheating either.

Shader compability, well, the shaders is whats messed up yes in the picture, but they work in WoW and hl2. The card supports ps 3.0

Opened a query with XFX, so hoping they have a solution.

Someone said it might go away when playing with the ingame options.

If anyone else has a suggestion feel free to share, otherwise I'll just have to wait for answer of XFX and if still no solution bring it back to the store.

Sounds like the card is a lil flakey.

Actually I've encountered this or close to it before. When I play it will sometimes CTD and allow me to send in my GW error report. Anyway, the "problem" is apparently a graphics problem and kindly asks me to meet the System Specs or get the latest direct X (which I have).

AMD Athlon 64 3200+
1 GB of RAM
Nvidia GeForce 6600 GT

It's happened a couple times during missions which bothers me, I hate to leave other people hanging.

I hear of these problem more and more with Nvidia cards...er...drivers.

But a crash to desktop always "looks" like a memory problem over a video one to me.
