Not possible. You can only adjust the amount of shared video memory your system uses in the BIOS.

PS. Another case of a Nvidia FX5xxx series card...

You can change the timings. The speeds are dependent on what the board supports. RAM will run at the speed of the slowest stick in the system. (IE. If you have a PC 3200 and a PC 2700, both will run at PC 2700.)

I have, AFAIK, the same problem. It randomly crashes, sometimes many times within a few minutes. Sometimes an error message, sometimes not. Sometimes just freezes, and sometimes freezes and exits (such that the cursor changes and I can click on things in the background, but the GW screen remains).

I've run two memtest86+ tests, and both showed up as OK. I have installed the latest video drivers too.

I'm thinking it may be something with my RAM.

Anyway, not really requesting help yet, just posting to say that you're not the only one with the problem.

Chrislee, would help with your system specs, there's many solutions...

- Power Supply
- Reseating RAM...
- Different Graphics Card Driver
- Faulty RAM

It could be plenty of things, just try a different Graphics Card driver and/or re-seating your RAM for now.

I'd recommend a new topic, try not to hijack this guy's thread.

Well, the graphics card and power supply are new (just a couple months ago I changed them because the system was dead). That's why I think it's the RAM.

And I said not to help me. :P
