Default A suggestion for choppy gameplay

I had just done this the other day, and it had worked a little for me, in terms of performance of gameplay/choppines.

I moved my camera angle, so that my camera is looking downward, towards the ground. When doing this, I assume it is because you are not looking at all of the scenery in front of you. In other words, there is not as much graphical information being processed if the camera angle is down, looking towards the ground. To look up, all you would have to do is simply move the camera angle upwards. But, I am probably going to keep it down for the most part, because the choppiness does go away, a lot, for me. In doing this, obviously, it will take away the scenery, however, you will be playing at a better performance, possibly, and you could always just look up by moving up temporarily.. To move the camera angle, simply right-click, hold, and move down, until you see a better adjustment.

I hope this helps people.

Note: This helps A LOT in towns, where the graphics are large.

Simple suggestion. In your other thread you said you only have a onboard shared graphics adapter with 64MB. Do what was mentioned, go into BIOS and change the allocation to 128MB. Yes, you'll lose 128MB of system memory but you'll be able to play without resorting to the drastic measure you mentioned above!

If that can't be done then go out and get yourself a decent graphics card! A good one can be had for around the £100 mark.

To be blunt, you shouldn't really go out and buy games that require a half decent graphics card if you know that your system won't be able to handle it! Not nice advice, but hey in the long run it'll save you money.

The reason I had bought Guild Wars was because, I had purchased Final Fantasy 11, seeing as how my card had supported FFXI Gameplay/graphics well, and seeing as how GW has no better graphics than FFXI, I thought I wouldn't have to deal with such problems.

And, this thread was made for other users who are experiencing choppy gameplay.
