Cool computer freezes

HI,hope some 1 can help me on this...
just got guild wars today, loaded fine nps,went on the game got to lvl 4 seen `a freind on there decided to go on teamspeak, that loaded up fine,went bk on the game went through a few portals then computer crashed,just froze nothing would work,hard booted comp, tryed to get bk on Teamspeak comp froze again:s try getting bk on guild wars same again froze: reinstalled guildwars ,reinstalled teamspeak,nothing... then reformatted comp reinstalled guild wars fine,loaded it up got stuck on 100% ,hardbooted,managed to get on the game,froze,ive had a look inside the comp all fans are working (got 3) tryed going on teamspeak, comp froze again:s ive never had trouble with this computer until i installed guild wars also play (battlefield 2, unreal tounament, need for speed)im wondering if the 2 are conected teamspeak and guildwars now im haveing trouble with msn aswell:s

comp specs: o/s windows pro

m/b asus 4 moths old
ram 3200 1 gig
H/D 40gig maxtor 5200rpm
graphics 256mb ati 9550 running on amega drivers
processor 1700 amd
plz help im going out of my mind!!!!

Un-install your Omega Drivers, and use ATI's Catalyst drivers (the official ones) from there Website.

Un-install Guild Wars completely and try the Client from the Website.

Also, are you overheating at all? Check for temps.

check all ur fans....
Video card, CPU...open the side panel and try it if u get the same freezups do this:
Just turn ur comp on, login to GW and watch the fans (pay attention to ur video card fan and CPU)
if u see that fans r doing crazy stuff, thats the problem...replace it (check newegg.com for VGA fans/heatsinks)

hi guys/girls
just to let u know was an overheating issue.had to lower the cpu speed,so looks like a new cpu for me.But on the good side least im playing the game now:P
