Non-Full Screen Not Working
Let me begin by saying that, aside from an occasional error 7, GW has never given my uber-comp an issue. Until now-- when I try to run in a less-than-full-screen window, I just turn up with a black screen. Just-- black. That's it. It's rather frustrating, and it's a new error that came about with the new patch- it never happened before. Anyone else with this issue? It's awful irksome...
Full screen works perfectly. Thx all

well i bet if u start it up as less than full screen itll work, i dont really know why its doing this.....GW is having some big problems

The question is, what do you consider an [SIZE=-1]über-computer? What one person thinks is good another person just say's meh!
As for the difference in performance when windowed, that's mainly down to Windows having to both run/draw your desktop and Guild Wars, or any other game, at the same time. Try opening up task manager and closing Explorer down before running in windowed mode. After all, you can just run it again after you've fininshed gaming. [/SIZE] |

Also, I (strangely) can run it fine on a small window with the preface (char gen and login) screens, but only in-game itself is there an actual problem...
I had no issues with it before these new patch releases... Tried shutting down explorer, too. Didn't solve the issue. Anyone else running NVidia cards having this issue? ---I didn't do a damn thing, and it just started working... the Gods smile upon me today!
