Exclamation Graphics textures show as tiles

Background: 6800, plenty of cooling, 3.0 Pent., and no problems with other games...

...what is happening with GW is that I auto-detect for optimum graphics settings, everything is beautiful- crystal-clear and smooth. I 've played without lag every time. Problem is, when I jump into or out of an instance, the textures (on the ground, close to my character) look like square tiles. Everything runs smoothly, just the graphics are funky. I adjust the settings, and things work fine again until I jump out of the instance.

I've tried running graphics at a lower setting, and get the same issue.

Just for reference- I play BF2, Stormreach, WoW, and non-MMOs at the highest quality settings without any issues (normally), so I'm pretty sure this is unique to GW.

Anyone else experience this?
Thanks!
