I myself despise iPod's so I don't know about getting it on there. In regards to being able to actually play it with the iPod, based on the complexity of user interaction (ie. keyboard, mouse, ts/vent) in GW via PC, I don't imagine that it's possible. I could be wrong though, I dunno, maybe they made a little mini keyboard and mouse for iPods now.

C:\Program Files\Guild Wars

Take that folder and *copy* it to your iPod. Just the main area on your iPod, don't put it in a folder.

Then, download the Portable GW program, extract it, and then place extracted shortcut inside the Guild Wars folder you just copied onto your iPod.

It does not allow you to play on the screen of your iPod, no. You can, however, just plug it into any computer and play on there, no need to copy the files off. When you want to play, just open the iPod to view the file directory and select the Portable GW icon. Ideal for libraries, visiting boring relatives, etc.

Hope that helped.

Jump Drive...more economical than iPod and less aggravating. This is mostly for those of you without an iPod that want to do portable. You can get up to a 2 gig jump drive that is still conveniently sized for a reasonable price.

I was just about to ask that very question? Will GW 'portable' work from a 2GB pen drive?

If it works on the iPod, I don't see why it wouldn't work on a flash stick.
