Default "Repairing data archive" followed with crashes!

Hi guys, im kinda new to the community, but ive been playing GW for about 9 months and the thing is that i have a Laptop:

-Intel pentium M processor 760; (2ghz, 533 Mhz FSB, 2mf L2 cache);
-Ati Mobility Radeon x700;
-PCIe with 128 Vram;
-100gb HDD (disk);
-1gb DDR2 ram.

And it is an Acer Aspire 1690.

Now the problem is that since about 1, 1/2 month ive been having some problems with my GW, and almost of the times its the same problem:

Sometimes (not every single day) I enter the game, logout, and then when i enter again in that same day it appears "Repairing Data Archive", it runs, and usually (not always) the game freezes and a Blue WICKED screen appears for 1 second and then "puff" the laptop reboots itself, ive formated the laptop, ran Defrag Tool, ran norton, and i have norton firewall, ive also ran ad-ware for spywares and such but the problem remains, ive also tryed to upgrade my drivers but everytime i try to update to Catalyst 6.x it gives me an error such as VGA or that i dont have a display driver blah blah, so i ran a Mod from Driverheaven to put catalyst 6.2, but i had no luck. Now i trully dont know what to do, and i dont know if it is some issue that GW has with the graphic card or something else...

I hope u guys can help me out, thnx.

P.S: not to mention that sometimes i see weird things in game such as White Cubes....

If it's saying repairing data in your gw.dat file, it may be an update did not install correctly. I hate to suggest this, but you may have to re-install guildwars and Don't try and save gw.dat file (or rename it to keep it but let it create a new one. Your symptoms scream to me corrupted gw.dat file (white box's are "place holder" if it can't find the textures.
