Exclamation Geforce 2 :S

Hey

I'm having bad problems with my video card when I go out from a town my GW stops loading, do nothing and say bye. I know that its a old and bad card and I will buy a new video card but I want to know what could be the problem ( in the past it was GOOD, never frozed ) maybe the update the bad, or the firewall. I'm furious what could be that. Please help

When did it start doing this, and when was the last time you played where it worked properly?

what has a video card to do with loading?

could you describe the symptoms exactly?

GeForce 2 isn't supported by Guild Wars. I couldn't even get GW to install on my in-laws PC.

I just wanted to know that, it is the videocard's problem if the loading when you go out from a town, stops loading or your internet connection is the bad, or the firewall. I cant click on the exit on the right upper corner it it do nothing as I say and i need to reset my computer.It's been since a week or two.

oh man, Geforce 8s are almost out. Just spend $20 and get a Geforce 5200 fx, that'll solve ur problems.

If it is video card related, then your gf2 is just finally dieing. Integrated graphics on a new mobo would be better than a gf2.

Newer updates may have effectively disabled your card as well.

It's a possibility, I've seen it happen, though I am not sure of the likelihood in this case.

At any rate, if you lived close by I'd just GIVE you my old 5200. A Geforce2 is unacceptable for pretty much anything today.

what card would you recommend for the up to 200 dollar range (or a wee bit more) as best AGP bang for buck now?

also i have been getting good luck with Leadtek so far.

any other brands you would trust?
