so I have been playing guild wars for a couple months now and it has never done anything bad except maybe kick me out like 2 times but only because I would lag out

I dont exactly have a great graphics card but it has never done anything bad until recently which whenever it gets into certain areas such as wc it wont load and it kicks me out saying "fatal graphics card error" or such and today when I was in ember light camp after being in there for about 20 minutes it kicked me out and said the exact same thing

I asked a couple of people why it was doing this and they said that the graphics card might have become loose so if anyone can maybe confirm that I would be really greatful

p.s. I have already uninstalled the graphics card and reinstalled it

Nobody can confirm if the card is loose or not except you. Just take it out and reseat it, making sure it sticks in solidly. Since you'd already have the video card out, you might as well clean out any dust in the fan/heatsink as well. How old is the card? What card are we talking about?

I don't think that its the card. There has been a rash of Lag recently. I've came across many players experiencing the exact same type of lag at the exact same time.

From what I have read in other threads, I'd be leaning towards the software changes being at least partly responsible.

Sadly that doesn't offer you any more help...

As Narada suggested, the cleaning and dusting is always a good idea.

I'd have to agree with you. The business DSL line where I work has recently been subject to spurts of some nasty lag when I play there... that place never lags. :/
