yep its back again.
Anyone else worried seeing as we are only 3 days from the factions realease and there being potentially more than double the amount of people playing now?

and its getting really boring

all i got from customer support this time was instrustion how to clear my dns cache... dosnt work tho....

i got it today...never got it b4..i have factions peorder key installed..eveyone else have that 2?

also it occurs when i first click on a character to play in guildwars(cant even get into their first place)

No problems here connecting or playing, no lag at all. Keep in mind that they are still preparing for launch, and network outages do occur, as does Hardware failure when serving ~1million users.

People that posted w/ this problem...I am trying to figure out if it has something to do w/ the factions preorder package. I have added that access key to my account and now it doesnt work. I had my friend try my account on his computer(to see if it was comp) and he got the same error message. Whne he tried his account(without the factions preorder package cd key installed) it worked fine. Please post if you have the preorder access key on your account. I dont know it may just be me but this seems way to coinsidental to just be a normal glitch in my case at least.

just got this error 005 again on both my american accounts, tho it does allow me to log in but i can't map travel ne where,if i try too err 005 and my char are stuck in limbo between where i was b4 i tried to map travel and where i wanted to go, so to test i went on my euro account, everythings works fine. Change my euro to American and BOOM err 005 ( my euro doesn't have a pre-order key btw b4 u ask) tho my main American account does.

So seems it maybe an American servers issue.... oh wot joys just b4 Factions, hope this isn't a sign of things to come..

It started happening to me today, and I do not have a key for Factions installed. I don't think that is the problem.

I haven't added my factions preorder yet and I'm still getting these errors, and they're totally random. They'll happen spontaneously when I warp, then I can't go barely anywhere, then poof its normal.

If the servers are having issues then they should fix them. With 1 million players that's at least 50 million bucks.

Yes, server issues are common. Don't complain too much, you could be paying $15/mo.

These Error 5's are getting really annoying now, I had planned on finishing everything on my main char before thursday morning but now it looks unlikely because most of my guild are getting err 005.

Its been happening for over 2 hours tonight so thats just a bit longer than the planned server maintanance and most of my guildies have headed off to do other things.
