I've been getting the same problems, and it starts up totally randomly. I've tried restarting my computer, even my network and it still is on & off. It's definately something on the Guild Wars side. If this continues, I'm not going to continue playing. I almost don't want to buy/add the expansion if this is how it will be, it's too frustrating.

I think this is happening to far too many people in the same day for this to be the fault of any single person or his/her computer. I am willing to bet that A-net is scewing with the servers again, and there is not much we can do about it but wait.
With that said, I'm not even able to log in anymore. Anet ftl

If it were just a single person with the problem then yeah, I would say to make sure to go through those steps. But seeing how many people started having the problem at the same time... well, it would be one heck of a coincidence that all the peoples' computers decided to screw up the same way at the exact same time, lol. same prob here cant load into augary and RA...hvnt tried droks yet for my other guy
mine just doesnt connect. maybe ill get a code 005 but hvnt waited that long ~shote |

I manage to run the table with the crap... Sometimes I get stuck on the loading screen at 100%, majority of the time I get to the outpost/town/whatever and I lag to hell and I cant do anything... Sometimes I make it to the town but if I try to zone -anywhere- I Code=7. And then there are the times when I can actually make it out to a map and play for a few min then the lag engulfs me.
It's been doing this around the time of Easter that I've noticed... Around the same time there was a rather large storm that rolled through here knocking out our power, so I have no idea if it's my net here or ANet's problem... But seeing everyone else having the same problems I'm having, I'm starting to lean to the ANet's fault. |

The net tool is not designed to specifically check your computer, but rather the route to the servers you are connecting to. Who knows it might only be a specific data center having problems, that is what the net tool helps identify. As it stands im still not having problems logging in or playing, which suggest its the particular datacenter you guys are getting routed to, or either that Im just a lucky goose.

I emailed support this morning, and the reply I got was basically "Try again, users are reporting that this problem is now resolved". So I tried logging in again, and to my suprise, I connected with no problem. o_o So yeah, don't know what the heck was wrong, but for me, it's resolved now. |

resolved? Ha im still screwed up. I messaged support with the network data so we'll see where it goes.
