Angry HELP!!! Cant install the game

When I put the CD in the drive and load it up and click on "install Guild Wars Factions" the "Connecting to ArenaNet..." appears. The loaing bar goes right to the very end and then freezes and refuses to budge. I have tried trying again and again. I have looked at the firewalls: I disabled Windows Firewall and have allowed it on Norton Antivirus. BUT THIS DOES NOTHING
My computer specs are as follows:

3.7Ghz Processor
512Mb RAM
NVIDIA GeForce FX5200 256
20GB Hard Drive Free
1MB Wireless Broadband

PLEASE HELP!!!

Maybe you should try to wait. Does the computer hang up?

you could try disabling norton just while it installs. or just wait for an hour or so and see if it changes?

on a side note your system seems incredibly unbalanced. if you do indeed have a 3.7GHz cpu (not sure if you mean and athlon64 3700+ or and intel pentium 4 EE) then it will be hugely bottlenecked by the low amount of ram you have and that very slow fx5200. regardless of what you use the computer for i seriously recommend you at least upgrade the ram to at least 1GB or the processor is wasted. if you are into gaming a lot then you nreally need a better graphics card too
