hi after i installed directX 9 i cant play guild wars anymore

and i do not no wat i had b4 like wat kind of directX

any1 no a solution?

Roll back to a previous restore point! Then I suggest you purchase a decent English dictionary, text speak isn't a recognised language.

do a driver update for everything, then see if you have a prob, talking windows updates, video, motherboard.

Can't play as in you can't even sign on, or it crashes all the time, or... ? Depending on the extent of the broken-ness of your GW, it could be many things. Please post more details about what GW does when it breaks and it should help narrow it down. If you have any other games, try those and see if they are messed up now too.

However, since you were fine until you loaded the new directx, go to Start > Run > dxdiag. See if you can run all the tests in there without it locking up. If not, update your video card drivers to the latest version (make sure you uninstall the existing drivers and reboot first) and see if GW or other games will run after that.

If you did not have any trouble running the DxDiag tests, DxDiag tells you what kind of video card you have and how much memory your card has, if you could post that info it would help too.
