Default Disconnected...

Hello all!
Since i have Faction, i crash more often lag more often and deconnect more often (Stupid error 7) and quests are longer sometimes...
I suggest Anet should do something for these error 7, i mean i want to login again with my teamates when i got disconnected.
This avoid to do the quest again which is very very annoying...
Anyone know if Anet will implement that?
thx

Wanna hear something funny ? In my whole 600 hour+ GW career I got ONE disconnect (when I accidentally unplugged the router with my foot few days ago).

I'm with the OP, I only ever disconnected with Prophecies once, but I lag to high hell with Factions and have disconnected 3 times in 2 days.

I don't think I ever got error 7 in Prophecies, but since Factions release, I got disconnected from UW run twice, few minutes ago from a Canthan mission (I imagine they were all like "omg what a noob leaver") and am getting quite a lot of lag, where the character slowly stops moving and then nothing happens for like 10s.

Same here.

I'm at the point where I don't bother playing anymore cos I know I'll either have huge lag issues or get totally disconnected. I rarely had any lag issues before Factions came out.

I rarely disconnected with Guild Wars but with Factions it is several times a day and often right before I finish something making me have to do it all over again. And it isn't just me since a lot of the time my entire party is booted offline. Not to mention the generally laggyness of the game that is almost always constant. Plus when you only do part of a quest the quest usually gets bugged forcing you to have to abandon the whole thing and start it over just to fix it.

Not sure as I don't know the game well, hell I don't even own Factions yet, but I have a few ideas of what it may be.

If factions is more graphics / ram / CPU intensive than the original, it could potentially cause problems. Improper coding / lack of time spent coding could result in random "bugs", "glitches", and an over all "laggy" feel. If as the game is out longer these issues dissapate, then you can fairly safely assume this was the issue. Also, if Factions uses multiple ports for its internet connectivity you may want to make sure that said ports are open in your modem / router.
