2. new fans 5 total

3. new video card.

4. new motherboard

CPU heatsink/fan might be mounted incorrectly, check your CPU temp. What error message are you talking about?

Have you tried looking at aftermarket cooling for your video card? Most stock coolers run hot and loud. Check that your fans are blowing the right way. There should be an arrow pointing in the direction the fan blows in. Make sure the air comes in from the front bottom and out the back top.

Also, when replacing a CPU fan, always use a good quality thermal paste rather than the usually supplied phase change pad (the square of green or red found on the base of many fans when new.)

NOTE

those pads from the cpu maker are fine except if you are doing serious overclocking.

MAXIMUM PC magazine actually tested several different compoinds and found the original pad was only 1-2 degrees higher than the arctic silver

also...

the size of fan i have been told also matters...a larger 120mm fan is quieter and gets better air than a couple of the smaler fans, im told.

you said no lac of ventelation, so that means your case is far enought from the walls ect so it can actually suck in the air, yes?
if your in a hot room, the hot air will not realy help that much, so grab a desk fan and BOTH keep cool ^^
also you might want to look and see how many of those 5 fans are sucking and which are blowing...
if you have suck air in fans at the front and blow air out fans at the back, its better than the other way around sometimes
(and all suck in or all blow out might not be the best way...at least one blowing out will be needed realy)

other than that, yeah, try the cooler sheaths for the Vid card and maybe look for memory coolers as well....perhaps grab a room cooler or air conditioner if your in USA (since they are just starting to be known about here in uk)
other than that.....um, spend the summers in a cool part of the world?

i think he/she need to tell us what the error message is... otherwise it is useless to offer solutions.

thanks for the replies the error i get has no number in it it just loggs me of the game.

it tell me it is a hardware malfunction due to overheatin issues ill try posting a picture any idea were i can do that.

any way i did replace every single part on my computer to see if it was a hardware malfuction, i know it is no ventilation lack since i have open the case and place a BIg house fan direct injection of air in the case so airflow is not the issue.

know it is not video card since i have too and both give me the same error, i just replace ram just to test and same thing, new motherboard, and still the same error.

I dont know what hardware is malfuctioning im out of ideas for know. and i have spent alot of money now in it i can make a extra computer with all thigs i have bought to test just need to buy the case and a harddrive and there i go a extra computer.

It's the same problem my friend had. His videocard was running too hot. He opened the card up and put new thermal paste on the chip. Runs around 41 degrees cel now, which is a whole lot better than what it was running before, which was about 87 cel.

FSB clock frequency setting turned up too high in the BIOS? Any setting turned up too high in the BIOS? You should try to download a program that will monitor your hardware temps and display the current frequency settings so that we have more to work with.

Today i monitor the CPU tempeture and it run about 35 Cel and the system temperature runs about 43 cel.

I cant check the GPU temperature but i think is running alittle hot now i try using a Artic Silver thermal paste and ill olso install a direct fan to reduce the heat temperature on my video card.

I have an idea...how about listing your system specs. Which video card, mainboard, memory and so on....do you have installed? Also ....since you kept the old harddrive, did you install all the drivers since you said you didn't reformat?

I've had a similar message from Unreal Tournament 2004. It would crash and then tell me that either my computer was overheating or I needed to reinstal the game. I just reboot when I get that message and I don't usually see it again for a few months. The first time I saw it I did check all of my temps though and they were fine.

Radeons tend to have problems with overheating, due to poorly applied thermal paste between processor and heatsink.

I solved the problem by reapplying the paste, and adding another fan to blow over the original one.

Seems to be quite a common problem, but doesn't surface too frequently.
