Yup, just got dropped about 5 mins ago. Did a system restart to see if maybe a cache needed flushing or something...still cant connect. Just hangs after I choose character.

I can't get past choosing a character either. Lemme try some others, they're not all in Cantha.
My ranger is in my guild hall now as I'm typing this. Odd. |

I'm back in.. I suggest staying out of House zu Heltzer and to a lesser extent Breaker Hollow. The problem seem to be there. I managed to map out of House right as I was disconnected. When I was able to reconnect I was in marketplace and had no proiblem. House keeps getting worse.. At least try to map into the upper districts and not anywhere near 1 or 2..

Just use the international districts. The american ones are retardly laggy. Matuu Keep is even worse than HzH.
This has been a problem for weeks, and it's getting worse, not better. |

Same problem here, Cannot connect to Canthia nor Tyria. (Basically the servers are down) This has happened only two or three times in the past. Same problems as when the prices reset that one time.

I was able to log into the character that got booted earlier...logged into Deldrimor War Camp cuz was in Grenths when booted earlier.

I'm getting the same issue, I was in a game with a german friend international all of a sudden error code 5 and was kicked out, re-logged in and tried to switch to the international district....couldn't get in would just sit at the loading screen and lock up, got back on again switched between american districts fine but not international. Tried going outside, locks up on loading again...something is horribly wrong, I'm living on East coast others seem to be fine maybe its a location thing??

I can get onto my account, then when I choose a character to play with my comp freezes. Also several district's accross different cantha servers have been terribly laggy the past two days. If I want that kind of performance ill go play WoW. But im reasonable, if they are having problems they are having problems i guess..I can respect things dont run smoothely occassionaly with online servers. But if this becomes a regular thing like WoW im out for good. I hope their servers dont start sux0rzing all the time now

Same issue. It's a bad thing too, I was close to finishing a Bonus Mission. It took forever to get that group!
East coast here as well. I can log in and play maybe one round of RA before it freezes up. |

I got this too. It won't let me into Duels for some Faction farming. The only way to get cheaper amber. Hope they fix this.

Also I can't even switch towns, I'm stuck. Just can sit and chat with people and watch people go in and out of the gates as I can't do anything else. Maybe talk to the merchant but I sold my stuff yesterday heh.

network probs for only some?
basically,
3 characs stuck in a factions town.(wont load in after log in) 2 characs stuck in GH (factions guild hall).(wont load in after log in) 1 charac still accessible. in a tyrian town... ??? it isnt happening to everyone. since I still have guildmates running around factions and GH.... /mmmkay...

I'm also East Coast. Character in Marketplace can't log in. Character in Guild Hall can, but he was in Tyria prior. Character in Augury can log in. Character in Tsumei Village can log in now, too.
So it looks like it's Mainland Cantha for East Coast people. :/ |
