Default Problem with Anet

Ok, so I was playing ealier today, just finished a mission, and it froze on me. To tired to start GW up again in log of and go away. I came back, click my little Gw shortcut, the small GW startup screen comes up - "Connecting to Arena Net 0%", I wait 5 mins and it still hasnt got to even 1%. This stops me from logging or doing anything. I just asked a mate and his is working fine.....

Any known reasons why, and more importantly solutions??

Much appreciated. Thanks

lol yeah poor telecom, teach them for over charging us for years.

Umm about the question, I'm just think its not my computers fault the game has not being connecting to Anet (it's been going the past 10months why stop now) which either leaves my internet provider (wondering if we had it in common which we do) or Anet I suppose.

I read somewhere that Anets updates might conflict with the internet provider for some reason, but I'm no computer guy, I'm just throwing ideas

Ok, it works now, but about 75% of the time.

I'm pretty sure this is due to NZ less than perfect internet, and with all the problems as of late it seems a valid excuse.

Makes no difference with firewalls on or off, so I think the best think I can do is just wait it out, see what happens. As you said.... been working for along time, why stop now.

Thanks

Im having the exact same problem.

Playing fine last night for about 1.5 hours and then it just froze.
Each time i try to log back in it just says "connecting" for ages then gives me the code 58

Followed their steps to no avail.

You think its an NZ issue ?
