about 1/3 times when i load a map it stays on 0% and wont load, its realli annoying when im doing heros ascent and UW or other things, any idea what i shud do?

1.) Your asking it in such a stupid form, you need specs to help.

2.) You do if you want a proper answer.

3.) Then you need to learn. Your system specs are basically your; Processor, RAM, Graphics Card, Power Supply.

4.) I can't help if you don't provide the information, period.

He's right, there are forum rules about using proper english, bumping your thread is frowned upon, and you are supposed to post your system specs when seeking technical help.

The "stuck loading maps" problem is common, try this to fix it

Close ALL OF YOUR PROGRAMS
Click Start
Click Run
type C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Gw.exe -image
A GW window will open, it will decompress all of the maps and then close. It takes a long time and you can't really do anything until it's done. Then if you sign on to GW it should run normally and not get stuck loading maps anymore. If it still gets stuck loading maps, I'm betting you are having connection problems or hardware issues.

Go to My Computer, See the C: thingy well thats your problem right click and delete it and then your guild wars should work like a charm

Yes, please do not listen to TheOneAndOnlyX, it probably won't let you do what he said but it will mess up your computer if you manage to delete any folders.

That wasn't very nice, if you were being sarcastic about deleting things in C: you should do "/sarcasm". Not everyone knows better when you tell them to delete things that shouldn't be deleted.

Im having Loading problems, and its always the same thing, it happens mainly on mission and competitive missions, but it also happens on normal cities. The load gets stucked at 0%, and its not only happening to me but also to a friend of mine and 2 other people, its weird cause everything was ok yesterday, but today it happened to us all, its not a PC problem that im 99% sure, and i ve already reinstalled GW and the problem remains, so its not a GW data problem, maybe from theirs servers? i dont think its necessary to say my specs, cause like i said i dont rly think its a PC problem of anykind, but anyway is anyone with the same problem today? If so does anyone knows whats the problem?

Thnx in advance! I read this post but its no use...btw i tried the run thing and i wrote C:/Programas/Guild Wars/gw.exe -image but it gave me error saying it was not found but untill this part C:/Programas/Guild Wars/gw.exe the path is correct...any ideas?

Myself and about six of my guildies are having the same problems. Aparantly this issue is caused by an err-5 code. I am guessing it is on anets end because of the number of ppl having this problem. It has nothing to do with hardware I can assure you. My pc is a monster of a machine. I run a 7800 geforce, amd fx 57 processor, 2 gigs of corsair xms extremely low latency ram, abit 8 eyes pro motherboard, and a segate baracuda 120 gig hard drive. There are too many ppl having this problem for it to be a hardware issue. I do believe this one would be server related.

same thing is happening to me, the odd thing is, it only happens with major outposts (droks, lions, etc..) in international district.

Create a login and report your problems to Support Services. They are the people you need to contact if you have game problems. If you have ISP problems or your computer is severly outdated ... they will not be able to help you much.
