Hello everyone, I come with an error my friend is having, every time he trys to open up Guild Wars, it comes up and says "Error Cannot Respond", in a GW box, not a microsoft, and thats all and exactly what it says, wont even let him into the log in screen, hes tried restarting but still cant get it to work, so please, if any of you have had the same problem or know what he can do to fix it, please help. Thanks.

See if this works

Un-install Guildwars, go to gw web site and get the client download and do a install from it.

Sounds like his firewall is blocking gw.

That's what I thought.

Tell your mate to give GW internet access within whatever firewall he's using. If it's Zone Alarm, then just go to program control, click add and then browse to the GW folder and click on GW.exe.
