AMD X2 3800+
G.Skill Extreme Series 2GB DDR400
EVGA 7600GT
EVGA Motherboard that you mentioned
Enermax Liberty 500w or Seasonic S12-500

Then the same stuff you had listed, other than that.

Well if your looking to get a new PSU, why not get the same one i did. This one is great especially seeing the price.

Not to know that XCLIO unit, as I find them to be great little performers. Though in this instance I would personally go with the Enermax Liberty 500w, as the 12v rails are a good bit more powerful.

ack, EVGA -- ACK!! nVidia . :/

Dump the EVGA/Nvidia - if you want GW to run its best, and perform its best, go for ATI (since they DID work with ATI on Factions, notice how there's an ATI logo on the box? )

Lol, both are so close in performance that the difference isn't noticeable 90% of the time, atleast with higher end cards. At any rate, the logo means next to nothing. The only time I would reccomend one or the other based on anything other than price / performance, is if you were intending to use Linux...in that case nVidia is the winner hands down.

BTW - 7800GT EVGA running GW "at its best" lol, if you consider full..everything @ max monitor resolution, in this case 1280 x 1024.

In my experience:

Performance: ATI slightly < Nvidia
Stability: ATI much > Nvidia

I'd take something that isn't going to break in 3 months, and that will work with just about anything over a finicky pos that's gonna crash.

Didn't the GameCube use ATI also?
