Default ATI 9550, and 9250

I have a windows XP home edition pc, and I want to input either the ATI 9550, or 9250 graphics cards. Which of the two are recommended for the game, and will these two items run on my intel platform. (Useing Guild Wars: Factions.)

Thanks, Kam

Well both are old cards, but the 9550 is very much better than the 9250.

i run it on maxed with a 9250, works fine
ill only lag from time to time, but thats because of my low dsl connection and a 1.2 ghz processor

9250 is slower than the 9550 by 10 MHz on the core, and doesn't support DX9. Go for the 9550 and make sure it's 128-bit memory (or you'll be sorry).

that means no 9550 SE or LE. Though these days you should be able to dig up a Radeon X700 or Geforce 6600 for down near the same price, and they would be a lot faster.
