Playing GW this morning... everythings fine. Took 4 attempts to find a town i could actually enter without a code 005 though. Only weird thing was the Decompression stopping at 99% for ages.

Go to town. Come back 3 hours later and everythings screwed up. My ethernet cable is refusing to register as connected whenever my brothers cable is connected to the router at the same time. Trying to run GW without it plugged in and now its as if i'm downloading the entire game again. Worked fine last night... besides Imperial Sanctum been bugged.

Anyone have any ideas whats causing it? It finally finished downloading and is working again but everytime i plug the other Ethernet cable back into the router my internet speed drops to bytes a second... The wireless is working fine on the Laptops. Can't think of anything thats making it screw up like this.

To be honest I have no idea. I had the same problem too before. But after I reformatted my computer (also everyone on my network) everything was happy again. =\ Go figure.

Ok, replace the cable to be safe. Take a look at the routers config. What router do you have?

Try resetting the router, cable modem, and computer.

Try some speed tests online, google to find some.

The fact that it is not registering the cable should point to a compy problem. Try an other jack if your computer has one, try upgrading the drivers for the nic.

After you do all that I am sure I will think of more things to try lol
