I am currently experiencing about 1/4th of a second lag while activating skills. This is getting really annoying and was wondering if anyone else is experiencing the problem and knows how to fix it?

I too seem to be getting an annoying delay whenever I try to use a skill. And yes, it has only started doing it since this Nightfall PvP Event started. The character doesn't lag or anything, just a delay when you click on a skill to cast.

well they updated the interface maybe that has something to do with it.

I prefered the old interface better. this just isnt as smooth.

Yeah I don't think it's a problem with activating the skills as such more of a general lag problem.

lag is just plan fricking annoying now.
the new interface is nasty. monking is now a problem coz i freeze then unfreeze and people are dead

interupting on my mesmer is impossible now.

There is a lag between your mouse click(or key press) and the interface recognize it. It's big frustation play as monk this way.

I have the same problem since the updates. Noticable delay between mouse click or keypress and skill reacting - this make play impossible!

I am also suffering from constant Err 7 and 58's. What happened the game was stable until Thursday night. Are we the paying customers being used as a the test bed?

Delay here too, its aweful, aweful, aweful, can't interupt, heal or pull off a combo.

Second that! I have also noticed lag connecting to Anet.

I went from a steady 1.5MBs to 350KBs at the start of the even and still going slow.

Well, looks like I ain't the only one having these problems. The general lag being the worst offender as it is. Ever since the big update, my framerates have gone down the crapper, I'm lagging like hell (sometimes mini-lags with 2~5 seconds of freeze and sometimes longer, up to 25 seconds and more, leading to err:7). Couple that with the delay it takes when activating skills and you can guess the frustration it creates. I tried to compensate by lowering my video settings but it did very little. It's sad, considering I was playing with everything maxed.

As an example, I'm writing this just minutes after getting "booted" by the dreaded Anet monster boss who uses the elite Err:7. I was the healing monk of a group doing the Gayla Hatchery mission. I kept having my gameplay completely frozen for extended periods of time which made my job as a healer... impossible. The d/c infuriated me not only because I got d/c but because I left a team who were smack in the middle of the mission.

To make sure the problem wasn't on my side, I have tested my DSL Ultra connection on various websites. I picked several places to insure a good ratio.

The results clealry show that my connection is tuned up. The culprit here being the latest, massive GW update or ANet servers that are incapable of handling the current traffic of GW.

I was thinking, when the online store came up, of buying a couple more character slots but seeing the poor performance of GW, I decided against. My GW gameplay is at a complete stop and I don't intend on returning or getting Nightfall until these performance issues have been solved.
