Hello,
I'm familiar with minimal requirementsa as well as recomended requirements for playing GW but as far as my personal gaming experience shows "recomended" doesnt mean i can play game IN MAX DETAILS and thats what I'm asking about. So let me rephrase my question: will Intel Celeron 1.8 G, 1gb RAM, fx 5500 128 or 256 allow me to play GW P, F (and Nightfall in future) IN MAX DETAILS, and if not, what type of card I need for that.
Cherrie

So official technical support for GW doesn't know what are requirements for playing GW in max details? WTF...

Anyhow, fx5500 is a card my befriended pc technician adviced me for cheap upgrade on my crappy pc for the time being, 'till I can buy new pc, but I wonder if it's any good, if not for max details, than at least for medium while playing Factions (I play only GW so other games and their requirements do not concern me)... I've played Prophecies medium/max details on 460 (!!! yes, I have) but thats defenetly not enough for 2nd chapter, sometimes gameplay is choppy even in min details... So if any of you has an old type of graphic card and plays GW, and system similar to mine, maybe you can share your gameplay experience with me.
Thnx in advance,
Cherrie

No max details for you. If you want max details, you should probably buy a new computer ( or at least a new mainboard/cpu/ram/gpu ).

I'd suggest one of the new intel core duo cpus on a board with pci express, and a nvidia 7600 graphics card.

Well thats the thing thats puzzling me becouse, as I said already, I did play Prophecies in max/high details on my 460 (64 memory) card - fx5500 won't increase GW's preformance? Than how about 6600? And how much memory: 128 or 256? I know memory isn't the most important for gc in some situations..
