Hmmmm...
I suspect a corrupt GW file.
Just let it "Repair" and it will hopefully fix your problems.

i heard other people complaining about this too. If you just let it repair and the error is gone then you don't have any problems. But if the error keeps persisting you need to reinstall GW

Are you overclocking your computer, or using some sort of 'helper' software?

GW has detected that the checksum on its files are wrong, downloads them again, and calculates a new checksum.

Overclocking can lead to write errors to harddisk, and 'helper programs' is exactly what CRC checking is there to defeat.

Another possibility is that you have physical errors on your harddisk. That is bad, as they tend to spread and successively corrupt more and more files.

I hesitate to suggest uninstalling GW, deleting the directory, and reinstalling, because you'll need to download all updates again - and that's a pretty big download - but that would be one way to be sure the problem isn't related to something with the GW installation.

not overclocking, and iono what helper software is so that prob isnt it either
i think it might be the harddisk thing
i did the "error-checking" under tools when i right clicked my local disk, it took about 15 minutes scanning but iono if that fixed it or not
was that it or is there any other ways to check it out?

well if your Windows XP is not shutting down or the "blue screen" you might have to reinstall GW. but like Numa Pompilius said you have to redownload all the files. Yikes!

You can try to install another Hard drive (a slave Drive) and "copy and past" the GW folder to see if it goes away.

when you use Regcleaner you're not removing any Guildwars registry entries right?

Limewire FTW =) how full is your Hard drive and how offen do you defrag it?
